The 2006
16mm show from Stoneleigh Park.
By David
Broadfield.
Myself
and my father in law arrived a little early and had to wait for
the doors to open at 10.30am,
the queue behind stretched for a couple of hundred yards by
then.
Overall the show was very good with plenty of things for both
16mm folk as well as G-Scaler's,
there were plenty of things to buy and all the usual suppliers
were in attendance - i.e. Brandbright , GRS, Roundhouse ,GRC well
you
name it they were there too many to mention really.
There were plenty of trains running - Garratt owners + Ttarrag
shed with their coal fired garratts running - SUPERB!
These
layouts where up and running as well,

When we first went in there were not too many in attendance but
by the time the show had been open for an hour or more there
were a lot of people there some stands were 3 deep
especially the Roundhouse and DJB stands.
This was my first time to this show and I was suitably
impressed, there were a few rude folk who refused to budge when
asked, but overall everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and
judging by the boxes and bags everyone was carrying round a lot
of stock
was sold.
