The East Pines Railway is not modelled after any particular railroad just made up as I went along.

I started construction April 2004 .The garden slopes so the rail runs from 150mm to 600mm above ground this has involved considerable construction and tons of materials. I was able to obtain lots of freebie stuff to keep cost down.
The main line is at the moment 285 ft long and runs around one fish pond and then crosses the second fish/wildlife pond then through the main tunnel and down the long straight through the station then across the 6 arch bridge into the rail yard. From the yard its through another tunnel and back down the straight. I have just finished the ground work to add another 75ft to the main line .

Track is Peco G 45 .I am using basic track power from a 5amp controller .Motive power is 1Aristo Craft FA1, the rest is 2 Bachmann Annie's ,1 Consolidation, 1 Mogul ,1 4-4-0 , all rolling stock is Bachmann .Buildings are made out of exterior grade plywood pebble dashed with bird grit using waterproof pva glue as bonding. I made moulds to cast tunnel portals, wings ,and the sections for the six arch bridge. Coaling tower and sand house based loosely on the one at Charma USA.

Plenty more work yet to do in landscaping and detailing.
