I started building the railway in the summer of 1998 and have been slowly growing it since.

It’s a basic end to end with reversing loops with a station in the middle. The operation is totally automated with the LGB system as I prefer to watch than tinker, but I can’t help programming new things and am always learning new tricks with the MTS software.

I just moved into steam this year with the Roundhouse SR & RL No 24 and it really looks the part powering up the incline into Ridgeway Station.

I’ve never really thought about a name for the railway, but our house is called “Paddington”, so I guess the “The Paddington Railway” will do.

I hope you enjoy the pictures of my railway in action.

Cheers,

Andy. 2007.
